6-9 color relief prints, editions of 15. 8.5" x 8.
Neighbors is a whimsical look at homes and historic properties within Moncton, New Brunswick, and a foil to Natt's previous works critical of Canadian commorancy, colonial heritage and their economic degradations.
Neighbors keenly uses a quaint autumn color palette in reference to the folksy works of Maud Lewis whose repetitious choices view the splendor of rural life. Through the medium of relief-printing, Natt aims to capture this same sense of ease and splendor for the city of Moncton; but in truth, this entire body of work is a joke at himself, to make artwork completely distinct and non representational of socio economic issues, and to simply enjoy creating for the sake of the process.
